Over 40,000 lbs of Toys Donated: Photos and Recap of the 2014 Christmas Wish Breakfast!

The results are in! This Thursday’s 27th Annual Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast breaks a new record with: over 40,000 lbs of toys, 476 bikes and over $20,000 in cash donated to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau!

Over 5,000 generous Vancouverites walked through our doors between 6am-9am on Thursday and received a complimentary hot buffet breakfast in return for a new unwrapped toy given to needy children during the holiday season. On hand live was the Global TV Morning News and Rock101 FM. Helping out with the toy pile was the Vancouver Fire & Police Department and in the background you could hear the festive sounds of the Good Noise Gospel Choir.

“This is our biggest day ever,” declared Chris Bayliss, Executive Director of the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. “We filled five Williams Moving trucks with toys.  That’s two more trucks than last year.”

The Pan Pacific Vancouver would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who came down and supported the Breakfast! If you missed any of Thursday’s action, take a look at the photos below:

See you next year!
