2014 Pan Pacific Vancouver Christmas Wish Breakfast, Thursday December 11 6-9am
The Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast is a Vancouver tradition that celebrates the true generosity of the city. For the past 27 years, Vancouverites have opened their hearts and their wallets to support the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and make Christmas special for families in need. Every year, the Hotel makes this a fun-filled heart-warming event for all ages. And on this 27th anniversary – with longtime media partners, Global TV, and Rock 101 – it will be bigger and better than ever!
On Thursday morning, December 11th from 6:00 – 9:00 am, people are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the hotel in donation. As a thank you, Pan Pacific Vancouver will provide a hot buffet breakfast on the house. The crowd will be entertained by the joyful singers from the Good Noise Gospel Choir and the entire event will be broadcasted live on Global TV with host, Steve Darling and Sophie Lui, and on Rock 101 FM morning DJ Willy Percy.
Last year, over 4,000 generous Vancouver residents attended the Christmas Wish Breakfast and donated more than 28,000 lbs of toys to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, along with $31,000 in cash. To get an idea of how the breakfast went, Executive Chef Bob Wiles and his culinary team served up 12,500 sausages, 500 kgs of hash browns, 800 kg of eggs and 4200 croissants. For people who don’t have time to stop for breakfast, they can drop off toys at the front of the hotel and receive coffee and a snack.
Volunteers from the City of Vancouver Fire Department are in charge of stacking the toys into a towering “tree” in the Pan Pacific Vancouver lobby. After the event, the firemen transport to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau warehouse, where they will be sorted and distributed to families in need.
*Event runs from 6am – 9am and the buffet will close promptly at 9am so plan to be here prior to 8:45am at the very latest

The “Twas the Night before Christmas Wish VIP Package” offers the following:
