Pan Pacific Vancouver

Winner: Mairi Mitchell

I would love to spend the weekend at the Pan Pacific Vancouver. I have lived in Vancouver for the last two years, but life can be busy and stressful and a chance to relax at one of Vancouver’s top hotels would be an amazing experience!

If I won, the first thing I would do is take a long, hot bubble bath in my hotel room, as preparation for going out and exploring Vancouver’s great night life! I’d have a drink (or two!) at the Pan Pacific bar, and then go out for a delicious dinner. Before relaxing into my comfortable bed at the end of the night, I’d admire the view from the waterfront!

Day two would involve breakfast, a relaxing trip to the Spa, and perhaps a visit to Stanley Park. I’d cuddle up in my comfortable bed at bedtime, and think about how lucky I was to have had such a relaxing and comfortable weekend stay at Pan Pacific!

Pan Pacific Whistler

Winner: Annie Elder

Wow! How can I get started. Well the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside will always have such a special place in my heart. I can remember that wonderful cold wintery night, taking a stroll outside the hotel at the base of Blackcomb Mountain taking in that wonderful crisp air it has to offer, when my husband, now of 3 years, stopped and looked into my eyes and told me how much he loved me and asked me if I would marry him. I couldn’t imagine anything more romantic than being surrounded by that fluffy white snow, being in cozy winter clothes and the breath taking view.

We couldn’t be more happier than to go back to the Pan Pacific Mountainside. It’s is such a wonderful place to go. While we are there we would enjoy the best of both worlds in the sense of that we can walk out the back and we’re right at the base of Blackcomb, to take a ride up the Gondolas and spend the day skiing and drinking hot chocolate, gazing at the breath taking picturesque views that Blackcomb has to offer. Then we would go back through the beautiful elegant cabin feeling Pan Pacific lobby up to our rooms and relax out on the balcony facing Whistler Village watching as the town lights come on, the snow caps and icicles start to twinkle on the roof tops of the village, as the sun is setting over it. We would enjoy the tasty food at the Dubh Linn Gate, which has a great breakfast menu might I add. Taking strolls through the village and eating at the wonderful restaurants the town has to offer would be a must. Then going back to the room and opening up a bottle of wine and curling up by the fire place enjoying the moment.

The Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside would be the perfect gateway for my husband and myself to reminisce on our romantic engagement, find adventure on the ski slopes and relax from our daily busy lives of working and raising our two beautiful children. Thank you for letting me share my experience with you.

The Pan Pacific Seattle

Winner: Jennifer Nelson

I would choose Seattle to take my sister-in-law Gina on a minitrip at the beginning of December because she has been through a lot in the past year, losing her mom to cancer and nearly losing her stepdad as well this year. She puts everyone before herself so I would love to take her to Seatte. We would go shopping, of course, go to Seattle Centre to see the Harry Potter exhibit, go to the SAM to check out the Picasso exhibit. Also I would take her to see my fave band The Dandy Warhols. Of course we would hit Pike Place as well so I can take her to The Confectional for the best cheesecake ever!!

Every month the Pan Pacific hosts exciting new contests just like this! To stay in the loop, be sure to become a Facebook fan of the Pan Pacific Vancouver, Seattle and Whistler!
