The 2014 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival Line-up

The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is back and this year’s line-ups have been announced. The Jazz Festival runs from June 20th to July 1st and boasts a line-up of 150 free concerts and ticketed headline events over the 12 day span. This is Vancouver’s largest music festival of the year, with an expected 500,000+ people who will join the jazz, blues and R&B festivities.

The festival begins with the Downtown Jazz Festival – two days of free music at the Vancouver Art Gallery plaza and Robson square on June 21st and June 22nd. Local and international artists will performing live acts on three separate stages. There will also be two beer gardens, market goods and big screen televisions showcasing the performances.

The festivities continue the following weekend at the David Lam Park Jazz Weekend on June 28th and 29th. There will be a variety of small venues in the nearby Roundhouse Community Centre as well as a main stage on the Yaletown Waterfront for bigger crowds.

Jazz fest will wrap up on July 1st, Canada day, with another day of free music at Granville Island Jazz Day. There will be four indoor and outdoor stages with 14 bands playing anything from jazz and soul, to Francophone pop.
