The Pacific Club Floor: A View From The Clouds

High above the city on the 22nd and 23rd floor is the Pacific Club Floor of the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

The floor itself has 32 rooms, 13 suites and its own VIP lounge.  The Club Floor is known for its stunning views, personalized care and attention to detail.

To see what all the fuss was about I decided to take a tour of the floor with Pacific Club Manager, Houshan Alizadeh.

As I toured the floor I noticed each room came with its own unique view of the city.  Some rooms could see the Coal Harbor and Stanley Park, others could see Grouse Mountain and the Lions Gate Bridge and some could just see it all.

The Opal Suite

The first suite I checked out was the Opal Suite on the 22nd floor.

Opal Suite

When I first entered, what jumped out at me was the elegance and sheer size of the suite. At over 1300 sq feet, the suite really had a home-like feel to it with a living room area, dining room space and its own private kitchen.

Some of the features included:

  • A king size Hypnos bed
  • Dining area for 6
  • Bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, rain shower and a steam room
  • Two 50″ flatscreen TV’s, one 32″ TV in bathroom
  • Bvglari personal ammenities
  • Guest powder room
  • Optional connecting second bedroom

Pacific Club Lounge

After checking out the different rooms, Houshan and I went to visit the Pacific Club Lounge which is open to Club guests.

Pacific Club Lounge

As you enter the lounge, you’re immediately captivated by the wall to wall glass which offers a 180 degree panoramic view of the city.  Here you also spot the Vancouver Convention Center,West Vancouver, Stanley Park and the Coastal Mountains… and trust me, this IS the best view in the city!

Some of the features of the Lounge include:  Private check-in/check-out service, VIP concierge, complimentary Deluxe West Coast Continental breakfast and a great atmosphere to relax and unwind.

As Houshan and I sat down over coffee, I asked him about the Lounge and some its features and benefits.

“The Lounge is usually our guests’ favourite feature of the Club Floor.  It’s located just a few steps away from their rooms and is a great place to relax and unwind during the day.  We offer a VIP concierge table which can assist guests in day to day planning – whether this means arranging a city tour, calling in a dinner reservation or even booking a treatment downstairs at the Spa Utopia.

We even have our own check in desk so guests can avoid any line-ups during busy periods in the lobby.  We try and provide a variety of comforts and services to our guests to ensure their visit is enjoyable and relaxing.  We pride ourselves on personalized care here on the Club Floor

I’ve heard many guests enjoy the morning breakfast, what does it include?

Each morning we offer a complimentary Deluxe West Coast Continental breakfast.  This isn’t a typical continental breakfast which just has a few items to pick from.  Each morning we offer a buffet spread for our guests which can include cold and hot items such as smoked sockeye salmon, fresh made crepes, and omelettes to name a few.

In the evenings we also serve hors d’oeuvres between 5-7pm.  To keep things fresh, we constantly update our menus and you can find such items as: smoked duck with mango chutney, ahi tuna spoons, prosciutto and melo canapé and tiger prawn cocktails.  Our guests love to come in during this time for a quick snack before dinner and drink from our bar.

See it for yourself!
