The RBC GranFondo Whistler is back for its eighth year this Saturday, September 9, with routes from Vancouver to Whistler ranging from 55 to 152 km.

Starting from Brockton Point in Stanley Park at sunrise tomorrow, this scenic cycle will take thousands of riders up the stunning Sea to Sky highway to Whistler.

Vancouverites are known for their active and outdoorsy lifestyle, and our Pan Pacific Associates are definitely no exception!

From left to right, here are our three Associates joining in the fun with 4500 other riders this Saturday and riding the 122 km route:

Peter, a longtime Bell Captain at the Pan Pacific, is an avid cyclist, having participated in the 200 km Bicycle Trek for Life and Breath 20 (yes, 20!) years in a row. This will be his second year riding in the GranFondo.

Abhishek, Senior Sales Manager, cycles to work throughout the summer (though not on the kid’s bike pictured above) three or four times a week. The 43 km round trip commute from New Westminster is the perfect training for his second year riding in this event.

Our Pacific Club Manager, Joel, will be participating for the first time this year after realizing that biking was actually his favourite part of triathlons. He is excited about the ride…especially the fact that there’s no swimming involved.

Good luck tomorrow – and have fun!
