4th Annual Street Food City – 20+ Food Carts

The food cart scene is exploding in North America, and although it is relatively new to Vancouver, it has expanded rapidly since its inception in 2010. Since then, Vancouver has become home to over 100 street food vendors that serve unique foods and desserts from every corner of the globe. Veteran street food cities, such as Portland, have introduced clusters of food carts  known as “pods”. Vancouver is yet to adopt year-round pods, however, Street Food City, held at the Vancouver Art Gallery, allows Vancouverites the opportunity to temporarily experience the pod craze here at home.
