2015 Vancouver Sun Run

Canada’s biggest 10K race will make it’s way back to the streets of Vancouver on Sunday, April 19th. Among the 50,000+ runners participating in the 2015 Vancouver Sun Run,  you will find anyone from seasoned marathon runners, to seniors, teens and everyone in between.

The Sun Run’s popularity is largely credited to the fact that it is one of the most visually stunning 10K courses anywhere. Starting at Georgia and Burrard streets in downtown Vancouver, participants can expect to see stunning landscapes as they make their way  through Stanley Park,  English Bay, the Burrard Street Bridge and finish their run outside of BC Place Stadium.

One of the many perks of the Sun Run are that you don’t have to run to be a part of the action. The Sun Run can also be considered a spectator sport. Along the course, there are over 20 music stages featuring live bands and DJs guaranteed to motivate the runners and entertain the spectators. There will be thousands of spectators and plenty of great spots along the route to view the 50,000+ participants at this year’s Sun Run.
