Enchanted Evenings Concert Series: Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden + Wild Rice Restaurant – Win 2 Tix!

When I think of Chinatown Vancouver, I never envisioned amidst its core a Chinese Oasis filled with beautiful ponds, stunning vistas and ancient architecture.

Entry to blissful living

Last weekend I had the opportunity to finally visit the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden which so many of our guests consistently rave about.

The Garden is an authentic representation of an age – old garden tradition which reached its peak in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The first of its kind outside of China – and the only in Canada – the Garden provides an asymmetrical arrangement of rocks and plants, winding paths and corridors and vistas that overlook its courtyards.

Right now they are also featuring the Enchanted Evenings Concert Series: 9 summer concerts staged in the Garden’s outdoor and indoor spaces. A different music group, sound and rhythm is held each week.

On for a limited time, you can also purchase the “Enchanted Evening Dinner Package” to experience a 2 course menu + drink from the beautiful Wild Rice Restaurant before your show for $44 (+ tax & gratuity ).
